東訊公司係由國內著名之東元電機企業集團為響應國家發展精密、尖端科技創新之號召，並培育國內科技人才，特別禮聘旅美通訊科技專家-劉兆凱博士於1979年9月於新竹科學園區主持設廠，為園區最早成立的廠商之一，專門從事於高科技電信產品之研究發展與生產。
