　　B: She was completely churlish. She walked ahead of me down the street and didn’t wait for me to catch up and she finished eating before me at dinner and started reading at the table!

　　A: 你和Ellen的約會怎麼樣?

　　B: 她簡直就是個土老冒。在街上她一直走在我前面，我都跟不上。吃飯時她比我先吃完，然後居然在飯桌上看起書來了!

　　A: I’m never going to another sporting event in New York.

　　B: Why not?

　　A: Because all the fans are loudmouthed. They all yell at the players and are rude to each other.

　　A: 我再也不去紐約看體育比賽了。

　　B: 為什麼不去了?

　　A: 因為所有的球迷都愛大吼大叫的，他們衝著運動員大喊大叫而且對彼此也很粗魯。

　　churlish: 粗野的，無禮的;農民似的。

　　ahead of: 在……前面。

　　catch up: 追上，趕上。

　　loudmouthed: 嗓門大的，大吵大嚷的。

　　yell at sb.: 向某人大吼大叫。

　　A: My little one always acts up when she is hungry.

　　B: What do you mean?

　　A: She started to cry and pulls a temper tantrum which is extremely embarrassing to me.

　　A: 我家小女兒一餓就鬧。

　　B: 你這話是什麼意思?

　　A: 她一餓就又是哭又是發脾氣，弄得我很尷尬。

　　act up: 調皮，搗蛋;發脾氣。

　　temper: 脾氣。

　　tantrum: 發脾氣。

　　pull a tantrum: 大發脾氣。pull也可以用have或throw替換。
