　　Yesterday was 39℃. It was so hot that people could hardly breathe.

　　昨天都三十九度了，簡直把人熱得喘不上氣來。

　　May：

　　Yeah, the temperature and humidity levels are higher here, much muggier than where we live.

　　可不是嘛，這裡不但氣溫高，而且溼度大，比我們那兒悶熱多了。

　　Did you see the weather forecast today?

　　你看今天的天氣預報了嗎?

　　May：

　　No. What did it say? Is it going to change?

　　沒呢，怎麼?要變天嗎?

　　Edward：

　　It will be raining continuously for several days starting tomorrow, and the temperature will gradually drop.

　　從明天開始要連續下幾天雨，天氣會一天比一天涼快。

　　我真希望冬天快點兒來，這樣就不會這麼熱了。

　　May：

　　I'd rather cope with the hot weather than deal with the winter.

　　我寧可熱著點兒也不想冬天。

　　Edward：

　　You are just afraid of winter because the winter in your hometown is so cold.

　　那是你家鄉的冬天太冷了，把你冷怕了。
