　　例如：

　　珍妮回到家，發現全家人一直在看世界盃足球賽。

　　The audience hadbeen waiting impatiently for one and a half hours before the movie star showed up.

　　觀眾不耐煩地等了一個半小時之後電影明星才出現。

　　These families had been through what we had been watching on the TV.

　　這些家庭自始自終在看我們一直在看的電視。
