英語四級翻譯習題及答案

　　每年四六級考試結束後，翻譯都讓考生有苦難言，沒啥捷徑可尋，考試網小編準備了一些練習題，來練習一下吧!

　　火鍋***hot pot***是中國的傳統飲食方式之一，擁有幾千年的歷史。在寒冷的冬天，人們軎歡吃能立即暖身和提神的火鍋。如今在許多現代家庭裡，用煤炭加熱的***coal-heated***傳統火鍋已經被電磁爐***induction cooker***火鍋所取代。各地火鍋風格各異，所使用的火鍋原料也不盡相同。-般來說，用於火鍋的肉類包括豬肉、牛肉、雞肉、鴨肉等,其他的菜則包括蔬菜、蘑菇、麵條等。

　　2.第2句中的定語“能立即暖身和提神的”較長，可用引導的定語從句來表達，“暖身”和“提神”可譯成兩個並列的動賓成分，表達為that instantly warms their bodies and lifts their spirits。

　　1.第1句中的“以......著稱”用短語be known as來表達,後面跟表示某種職業或某種身份的名詞或名詞短語。而be knownfor後面跟聞名的原因。

　　2.第3句由兩個分句組成,兩個分句句意完整且邏輯主語不同,故可處理成and連線的並列句。注意前一個分句中的“可以在這裡找到”實際上隱含被動的意味，故譯成被動語態。“任何你想要的東西”譯成anything you want。

　　3.第4句中有兩個並列的動作扎堆在一起”和“形成"，二者語義獨立,故用and來連線。定語“具有鮮明特色的”較長，故將其處理成後置定語，用介詞with distinct characteristics來表達。

　　4.倒數第2句中有兩個謂語：“開市”和“銷售”，但均較短，故可選用“開市”作為句子的謂語，將“銷售日用品……”處理成現在分詞短語selling daily articles...，作“開市”的伴隨動作。
