滿月（mǎn yuè），通常有2種理解，第一種就是說的天文現象，月亮圓了；第二種是民間風俗，嬰兒出生滿30天（孕婦生完孩子坐月子30天）。天文現象中月亮由小逐漸變滿，變圓就是滿月，一般在每個農曆月的15日或16日，但是12月12日的月值得觀看，因為是“近地點高潮”；而民間風俗，嬰兒出生一個月置辦滿月酒，新年結婚一個月等都是為了取一個好兆頭。 滿月，《儒林外史·第一九回》：“荏苒滿月，鄭家屋小，不便居住。”中指剛好滿一個月之意；唐張九齡《賦得自君之出矣》詩“思君如滿月，夜夜減清輝。”中指陰曆每月十五日夜晚的月亮。
