便利貼（Post-it note）是於1974年由3M工程師亞瑟·傅萊發明的產品。本來科學家是要研究一種黏性很強的膠，卻發現得到的是黏性較弱的弱膠，3M公司的一個人從這個實驗中發現了它真正的價值。於是，這就變成了一個可以賺取幾十億美元的商機。
