道士，道教神職人員的名稱。《太霄琅書經》稱：“人行大道﹐號為道士。身心順理﹐唯道是從﹐從道為事﹐故稱道士。”其中男性道士稱為“乾道”，也稱羽士、真人、神仙、道人、羽流、羽衣、紫陽、方士、黃冠、先生、希夷等，尊稱為道長。女性曰“坤道”，也稱女冠。
