習俗是一個漢語詞彙，讀音為xí sú，釋義為習慣和風俗。 出自《荀子·大略》“正教習俗，相順而後行。” 習字最早見於，字形作習，上部是鳥羽毛的象形，下部是聲符。《禮記·樂記》等均有相關記載。
