聖經

《聖經》是猶太教與基督教的共同經典，出於希伯來文kethubhim，意為“文章”，後衍意為“經”；希臘文作graphai，拉丁文作Scripturoe，漢譯作“經”。 基督教的《聖經》又名《新舊約全書》，由《舊約》《新約》組成。《舊約》一共有三十九卷，以古希伯來文（含亞蘭文）寫成，由猶太教教士依據猶太教的教義編纂而成，囊括了猶太及鄰近民族從公元前12世紀至公元前2世紀的人文歷史資料。《新約》一共27卷。《舊約全書》即猶太教的聖經，是基督教承自猶太教的，但《舊約全書》和《希伯來聖經》有所差異，書目的順序也不同。
