絲瓜

絲瓜（拉丁學名：Luffa aegyptiaca Miller），葫蘆科絲瓜屬一年生攀援藤本植物。 絲瓜莖、枝粗糙，有稜溝；卷鬚稍粗壯，葉柄粗糙，近無毛；葉片三角形或近圓形，裂片三角形上面深綠色，下面淺綠色，雌雄同株。性喜溫，耐熱，喜溼，怕乾旱。中國南、北各地普遍栽培，也廣泛栽培於世界溫帶、熱帶地區，雲南南部有野生，但果較短小。果為夏季蔬菜，成熟時裡面的網狀纖維稱絲瓜絡，可代替海綿用作洗刷灶具及傢俱；還可供藥用，有清涼、利尿、活血、通經等功效。
