大鼓

大鼓，梵名dundubhi，樂器名。打擊樂器的一種，又作太鼓。即在中空的木製圓筒上張皮，以供打擊的樂器。大鼓由一個單鼓槌敲擊，被稱作大鼓槌，兩面的頭都可使用，頭上包著羊毛或氈子。通常敲擊時，是擊鼓膜的中心與鼓邊之間，擊鼓的中心只是用於短促而快速的擊奏（斷奏）和特殊效果。
