坐井觀天的英語寓言小故事

　　編者按：《坐井觀天》這個的英語寓言故事講述的是一隻坐在井底的小青蛙與烏鴉的對話，告訴我們人不能侷限於當下，要敢於突破自身的環境去看世界。

　　There is a frog. He lives at the bottom of a well and he never goes out of the well. He thinks the sky is as big as the mouth of the well.

　　One day a crow comes to the well. He sees the frog and says, “Frog, let’s have a talk.”

　　Then the frog asks, “Where are you from?”

　　“I fly from the sky,” the crow says.

　　The frog feels surprised and says, “The sky is only as big as the mouth of the well. How do you fly from the sky?”

　　The crow says, “The sky is very big. You always stay in the well, so you don’t know the world is big.”

　　The frog says, “I don’t believe.”

　　But the crow says, “You can come out and have a look by yourself.”

　　So the frog comes out from the well. He is very surprised. How big the world is!

　　frog [frɔɡ]：青蛙

　　bottom ['bɑtəm]：底部

　　well [wɛl]：好，井

　　crow [kro]：烏鴉

　　有一隻青蛙，他出生以來一直生活在井底，從未見過外面的世界，他覺得天空也就是井口那般大小。

　　有一天，一隻烏鴉飛過來，他看到青蛙說：“青蛙，我們來聊天吧!”青蛙問他：“你從哪裡來啊?” 烏鴉說：“我從天上來。”

　　青蛙很吃驚：“天空不就是井口這般大，你是怎樣飛過來的?”

　　烏鴉說：“天空很大的，你總是待在井底，所以你不知道這個世界有多大。”

　　青蛙說：“我不相信!”

　　烏鴉說：“你出來看一看就知道了!”

　　於是青蛙爬出井口，他驚呆了：原來這個世界真的好大!
