  一

A: Did you watch Astro Boy when you were a little boy?

  B: No, you know, I’m a post-90s.

  A: Um…

B: But I’ve seen him in the metro not long ago.

  A: Really?

B: Yes, you know, the movie Astro Boy is running, and someone impersonated Astro Boy and got on the train.

  A: Did he frighten passengers?

B: No,we were just surprised and stared at him.

A: Did he say hi to passengers?

B: No, he’s just shaked his hand to us.

  Bob: How about a drink?

  Tom: That's a good idea.

  Bob: Which beer to drink?

  Tom: I like Sedrin.

Bob: And what kind of snacks should we have?

Tom: I'll leave it up to you.

  Bob: A disk of peanuts,OK?

  Tom: Not bad.

  好。

Bob: Let's drink to our health and success.

Tom: Right...and to our long-lasting friendship

Hello!

Hello!

Professor, can I talk to you for a minute?

Sure!

It’s about my paper. These days I am confusing about my project thesis.

What are you confusing?

About the evidence. You know, when I was finding the materials in the library, I always confused how to use them in thesis.

First, I think you should make sure whether the materials found are useful or not.

I’m not sure.

Bring you paper to my office, and I can give you some examples.

Tina: Tina: Hey, you should not have missed the party. It was fantastic.

Jessica: Well, there are cool parties all the time. Guess what? I spent the whole weekend on the TV show named Dwelling Narrowness.

Tina: You watched that too? I heard it is about housing or something like that. Dwelling Narrowness? What kind of name is that?

Jessica: That’s because you haven’t seen it. You can’t judge the book by its cover.

Tina: Maybe. But I just can’t see why people are so obsessed with TV shows. I think Chinese TV shows are stupid and unrealistic.

Jessica: No, you are so wrong. It is a good one. I feel it is a story of my life. I am sympathetic with the young people like us.

Tina: Come on! That’s not you! You never liked lecturing.

Jessica: Think about it! When we were young and poor, the housing was so inexpensive. When we think we can afford one small apartment, the price begins to soar. Thanks to housing, I have witnessed so many unhappy couples ending in divorce.

Tina: Truly, my friend Jake just divorced last month. Well, it was not his fault. His wife cheated on him. She had an affair with a rich old man.

Jessica: See? Another sugar daddy. This is life. It happens in the TV show and our life. Don’t be cynical, ok?

Tina: I knew you would say that. Maybe I will watch that TV show sometime.

Jessica: You should. And you will be a crier for sure.

Tina: Err, Come on …. That’s not me. I am tough.
