　　學自行車 Learning to Ride Bikes

　　Riding bike is the basic skill for most people, and they learn it when they are very small. I find few people can't ride bike and I feel pity for them, because it is hard for them to learn as the adults. I still remember the first time when I learn bike. It is the great achievement for me.

　　騎自行車是很多人的基本技能，他們在很小的時候就學會騎自行車。我發現只有少數人不會騎自行車，我很同情他們，因為他們很難像成年人一樣去學了。我還記得我第一次學騎自行車的時候，那是我最大的成就。

　　My parents paid special attention to let me master the basic skills when I was very small. They believed that these skills were easy to learn by a kid and they were right. I learned thing very quickly at that time. When my father gave me a bike, I felt so excited and was so eager to learn. At first, he would hold the bike for me, tell me to look forward and never look back. But I just couldn't do it, I needed to check if he was there. My father started to let go and I gain more confidence. At last, though I fell down many times, I learned to ride bike.

　　我的父母在我很小的時候就特別注重讓我掌握一些基本的技能，他們認為這些技能在兒童時期會比較容易學會，事實上他們是對的。那時我學東西很快。當我爸爸給我一輛自行車時，我感到非常興奮，非常渴望學習。起初，他會幫我握著自行車，告訴我要向前看，不要回頭看。但我就是做不到，我需要確定他是在我身邊。我的爸爸後邊開始放手，我獲得了信心。最後，儘管我摔倒了很多次，我還是學會了騎自行車。

　　Since then, I found the way to learn the practical skill, and gain confidence. I learned that if I kept on, I would succeed.

　　關於學習 About Study

　　Study has been the important part of our life. Some people believe that when they go to work, they don't need to study anymore. It is the wrong conception about study. We are not only learning the knowledge from books, we are also learning things from life, so study is the lifelong mission.

　　學習一直是我們生活中重要的一部分。有些人認為，工作之後就不再需要學習了。這是錯誤的學習觀念，我們不僅從書本上學習知識，也從生活中學習，所以學習是終身的任務。

　　The knowledge we learn from school provides us a way to explore the world. In college, we need to learn professional skills, so we can find our place in the society. I believe that besides the skills, the way to think is the most important skill we should master. The ultimate goal of education is to let people have their own judgement.

　　從學校學到的知識為我們探索世界提供了途徑。在大學裡，我們需要學習專業技能，這樣才能在社會中找到自己的位置。我相信，除了技能，思考的方式是我們應該掌握的最重要的技能。教育的最終目的是讓人們有自己的判斷。

　　When we come to work, there are so many things for us to learn, such as how to make better communication or how to improve our own professional skills. Though we are not in school, we learn the practical knowledge all the time. The world develops every minute and we need to move on, or we will be kicked out.

　　當我們開始工作的時候，有很多東西需要我們去學習，比如如何更好的溝通或者如何提高自己的專業技能。雖然我們不在學校，但我們一直都在學習實用的知識。世界每時每刻都在發展中，我們需要不斷前進，否則我們就會被淘汰。

　　Study is the lifelong career. We are happy to learn more knowledge, because it means we are being perfect.
