　　Two hunters hire a small plane to take them to a remote area of Canada. Upon dropping off the hunters, the pilot tells them,“Remember only one moose, because the plane wouldn’t be able to take off with more weight than that.” The hunters go off.

　　兩個獵人租了一架小型飛機去加拿大的一個偏僻地區打獵。要下飛機的時候，飛行員特意囑咐他們：“千萬記住，只允許帶一隻駝鹿，因為飛機只能承受那麼大的重量。”聽飛行員說完，兩個獵人就打獵去了。

　　A week later when the plane returns to pick them up, the two hunters are xiaogushi8 standing by the lake with two moose. The pilot fumes, “I told you guys only one moose. and you’ll have to leave one because we won’t be able to take off with that much weight.”“Oh, come on,” beg the two hunters, “Last year the pilot let us take two moose on, you’re just a chicken.”

　　一個星期過後，當飛機返回原地接他們時，飛行員卻看到獵人的身邊有兩隻駝鹿。飛行員生氣地說道：“我提醒過你們，只能帶一隻駝鹿。你們必須放棄一隻，因為飛機根本承受不了這樣的重量。”“哦，幫幫忙，”兩個獵人哀求道，“去年那個飛行員就帶了兩隻駝鹿呢。你真是個膽小鬼。”

　　Not wanting to be accused of being a coward, the pilot allows the two to bring both moose on xiaogushi8 the craft. The plane starts across the lake, straining to take off. The pilot tries and tries to no avail and the plane crashes into the trees at the end of the lake. A while later after coming to one of the hunters gets up and looks at all the scattered debris of the wreck and says, “Where are we?” To which the other hunter replies, “Oh, I’d say about a hundred yards farther than last year.”

　　飛行員害怕被扣上膽小鬼的帽子，於是就勉強同意了。飛機剛剛越過一個湖，就開始逐漸下沉。飛行員使盡渾身解數也未能逃脫劫難，飛機最終墜落在湖邊的一片樹林裡。過了一會兒，一個獵人站了起來，看著飛機的殘骸說：“我們這是在哪裡?”另—個獵人回答：“哦，我覺得比去年還遠了100碼呢。”

　　The Pope dies and goes to heaven. St. Peter greets him and says. “Glad to see you; we’ve got your place all ready.” Peter then takes the Pope down the street and shows him his new home: a small but comfortable cottage of 5 rooms. Peter advises the Pope to settle in, and then wander around meeting the other residents.

　　The Pope meets many old friends and makes several new ones over the next few days. One xiaogushi8 of these is a former lawyer who invites the Pope over for lunch. On arriving, the Pope is astounded to see a 45-room mansion, with built-in sauna and weight-room, a beautiful library, and spacious, airy rooms.

　　After lunch, the Pope spies St. Peter on the street and says, “Not to complain, but I’m curious xiaogushi8 as to why I have a small cottage while the lawyer I just met has a stupendous mansion.”

　　午飯後，教皇碰巧在街上又看到了聖彼得，便上前問道：“我可不是發牢騷啊!為什麼我只能得到一個小別墅，而那個律師卻有那麼豪華的大廈?”

　　St. Peter replied, “Well, you see, we have many Popes up here, but only one lawyer.”

　　聖彼得回答說：“你看，我們這裡到處都是教皇，可律師卻只有他一個。”

　　A drunk decides to go ice fishing, so he gathers his gear and goes walking around until he finds a big patch of ice. He heads into the center of the ice and begins to saw a hole.

　　一個酒鬼想在冰上垂釣，因此，他整理好釣魚用具後，便四處去尋找釣魚場所。最終，他發現了一大塊冰，就跑到冰的中心開始鋸洞。

　　All of a sudden, a loud booming voice comes out of the sky. “You will find no fish under that ice.”

　　The drunk looks around, but sees no one. He starts sawing again. Once more, the voice speaks, “as I said before, there are no fish under the ice.”

　　The drunk looks all around, high and low, but can’t see xiaogushi8 a single soul. He picks up the saw and tries one more time to finish.

　　Before he can even start cutting, the huge voice interrupts.“I have warned you three times now. There are no fish!”

　　The drunk is now flustered and somewhat scared, so he asks the voice, “how do you know there are no fish? Are you God trying to warn me?”

　　酒鬼頓時有些驚慌失措，甚至恐懼起來，於是他問那個聲音：“你是如何知道這下面沒有魚的?上帝呀，難道是你在警告我嗎?”

　　“No,” the voice replied. “I am the manager of this hockey rink.”
