　　小貓釣魚

　　A cat goes to a river every day. He wants to go fishing. But he can’t catch any fish.

　　一隻貓每天去河邊，他想去釣魚，但卻釣不到一條。

　　One day, he goes to the river as usual. Suddenly a fish comes out. He catches the fish. He is very happy. He forgets to put the fish in the basket.

　　一天，他像往常一樣去了河邊。突然一條魚浮出了水面。他捉到了那條魚，非常開心。但忘記把魚放到籃子裡去了。

　　He dances and sings. He shouts, “I have a fish! I have a fish!” All his friends come to see him.

　　他又唱又跳，叫道：“我捉到一條魚!我捉到一條魚!”他所有的朋友都過來看。

　　Where is your fish? Let us have a look at it. ” his friends say.

　　“你的魚在哪兒?讓我們看一看。”他的朋友們說。

　　“It’s there, near the bank.” the cat answers. But he can’t find the fish. When he sings and dances, the fish jumps back into the river.

　　“在那兒，河岸附近。”貓回答道。但是他找不到那條魚。當他又唱又跳的時候，魚跳回了河裡。

　　Mr. Wang thinks he is clever, but he always does foolish things.

　　王先生總以為自己很聰明，實際上他總幹傻事。

　　One day he sees a beautiful bell at the top of a door. “Oh! How nice! I will take it home.” He thinks, “What can I do?”

　　一天，他看見一戶人家的門頭有個很漂亮的鈴鐺。“啊，真漂亮啊!我要把它拿回家去。”他自言自語道：“我該怎麼做呢?”

　　After a while he has a “good” idea. “Aha! I have an idea now. I can plug my ears. Then I will not hear the ring when I take off the bell.”

　　過了一會兒他想到了一個“好”主意。“啊哈!我有辦法了!我把耳朵堵上，拿鈴鐺的時候就聽不見鈴聲了。”

　　Then he does so. But as soon as he takes off the bell, the owner opens the door. “What are you doing?” the owner says angrily.

　　於是他就這樣做了。可是他剛拿下鈴鐺，屋子的主人就開啟門，怒氣衝衝地說：“你在幹什麼?”
