尼古丁（Nicotine），俗名菸鹼，是一種存在於茄科植物（茄屬）中的生物鹼，也是菸草的重要成分，還是N膽鹼受體激動藥的代表，對N1和N2受體及中樞神經系統均有作用，無臨床應用價值。 尼古丁會使人上癮或產生依賴性，重複使用尼古丁也增加心臟速度和升高血壓並降低食慾。大劑量的尼古丁會引起嘔吐以及噁心，嚴重時人會死亡。菸草中通常會含有尼古丁。電子煙也含有傳統菸草的有害物質尼古丁。
