幽默

幽默（yōu mò）它是外來詞，這是一個音、意兩譯的詞，其表達恰到好處。由英文一詞(humor)音譯而來的，而英文中的這個詞，則來源於拉丁文的，本義是\體液\，古希臘有一位名叫希波克拉底的醫生認為，人的體液有血液、粘液、黃膽汁，黑膽汁等等。其組成的比例不同，而幽默一詞的廣泛運用，則要歸功於英國人文主義戲劇家瓊生了，他創作的《人各有癖》和《個性互異》兩部作品，均以幽默見稱。他的諷刺喜劇代表作《伏爾蓬涅》裡，其人物性格便是按照 “氣質”劃定的，大概由於文藝的社會功能所致，瓊生的幽默理論也不脛而走，而最初將此詞移入中國來的，則要推林語堂。
