也稱鋪房。婚姻禮儀。即女家人在送嫁妝時一併佈置新房。一般在婚前三日，也有前一二日舉行的。此禮起源甚早，宋時十分通行。司馬光《溫公書議》卷三：“親迎前一日，女氏使人張陳其婿之室，俗謂之‘鋪房’。古雖無之，然今世俗所用，不可廢也。”
