鴕鳥

鴕鳥（拉丁學名：Struthio camelus），別名為非洲鴕鳥，鴕鳥科鴕鳥屬動物。 鴕鳥成鳥身高可達2.5米，雄鴕鳥體重可達150千克，是世界上存活著的最大的鳥。雄鳥的體羽主要為黑色，雌鳥的體羽均呈灰褐色；龍骨突不發達，不能飛行，後肢粗壯有力，適於奔走。其分佈於歐亞大陸及非洲北部，棲息於荒漠、草原和灌叢等地帶。 鴕鳥列入《世界自然保護聯盟》（IUCN） 2016年瀕危物種紅色名錄ver 3.1——無危（LC）。
