咽喉，中醫學名詞。咽與喉的總稱。口腔鼻腔之後，食管以上的空腔處為咽； 喉腔內近氣管上端處為喉。咽者，主通利水谷，為胃之系，乃胃氣之通道也。喉者空虛，主氣息出入呼吸，為肺之系，乃肺氣之通道也。人體中有很多經脈均循行至咽喉，故咽喉疾患，可與某些內臟和經脈的病變有關，而與肺、胃的關係更為密切。
