地

地(dì)，從土從也。也，本義女侌。元氣初分，輕清陽為天，重濁陰為地。原為古漢語名詞，與天相對，本意為物質，後逐漸引申為土地、大地、地表。（見《道德經》“天長，地久。天地之所以能長且久者，以其不自生也，故能長生。”，“地久”即“物質長久不變”） 地有兩個讀音：dì、de。 可以用在動詞後作助詞，也可以作為名詞，表示大地（指地球表面最下方；貼近地殼的表面部分），地球等。
