國家體育場

國家體育場（National Stadium，鳥巢），位於北京市國家體育場南路1號奧林匹克公園，總佔地面積21公頃，觀眾坐席約為91000個，是2008年北京奧運會的主體育場。該場館承擔2022年北京冬奧會、冬殘奧會開閉幕式。 該場館由赫爾佐格、德梅隆與中國建築師李興剛等合作設計完成，“鳥巢”形態寓意孕育生命的“巢”，也寄託著人類對未來的希望。 2017年3月31日，國家體育場“鳥巢”開始改造，2021年10月28日，改造工程完工。

鳥巢

許多小型鳥類有編織的才能。它們用爪子抓住草葉、細枝或者植物纖維，用靈巧的喙穿針引線。鳥巢大多以有機物質如小樹枝、草、葉和唾液構成。部分鳥類會將巢建在樹上，部分（如禿鷲、鷹和很多海鳥，像三趾鷗等）則會將其巢建築在岩礁上，有的鳥類則會將巢建在地上或地洞裡。
