轉動

機械運動的一種最基本的形式。運動物體上，除轉動軸上各點外，其他各點都繞同一轉動軸線作大小不同的圓周運動，這種運動叫做“轉動”。物體上各點的運動軌跡是以轉軸為中心的同心圓。在同一時刻，轉動物體上各點的線速度和線加速度不盡相同。距轉軸較近的點，其線速度和線加速度都較小，但角速度和角加速度都相同。當剛體繞一固定軸線轉動時，稱為“定軸轉動”，如門、窗、機器上飛輪的運動等。當剛體繞一固定點轉動時，稱為“定點轉動”，如迴轉儀的轉子的運動等。有時，當一點以另一固定點為中心作圓周運動時，也稱為“該點繞中心點的轉動”，如行星繞恆星的運動。電子繞原子核的運動等。
