聚酯纖維（polyester fibre，滌綸）是由有機二元酸和二元醇縮聚而成的聚酯經紡絲所得的合成纖維，屬於高分子化合物，由英國的J.R.溫菲爾德和J.T.迪克森於1941年研製。 聚酯纖維堅牢耐用、抗皺免燙、不粘毛，主要用於衣著和室內裝飾，其最大的優點是抗皺性和保形性很好，具有較高的強度與彈性恢復能力。
