眼鏡蛇（學名：Naja，英文名：Forest cobra），蛇目眼鏡蛇科眼鏡蛇屬動物。省級保護動物 眼鏡蛇體較粗壯、頭呈橢圓形，頭頸區分不明顯，全長1到2米。頭及體背黑褐色，頸部具眼鏡狀斑紋，體背具黃白色至灰褐色。生活於平原、丘陵及山區，白天及夜間活動。性兇猛，受驚時，能豎起體前部，頸部膨扁、“呼呼”作聲。以鼠類、鳥及鳥卵、蜥蜴、蛇、蛙、蟾蜍及魚類為食。國外分佈於東南亞、南亞及西亞，國內分佈於四川、雲南、貴州、湖北、安徽等地。
