豎笛

豎笛（中國大陸稱呼），在臺灣稱直笛，在香港稱牧童笛，是一種木管樂器。直身長管，以邊陵發聲。笛端有1個吹孔，吹孔以下有尖版開口，笛身有8至10個音孔，其中2個為半音孔，由口吹氣至吹口的窄管，窄管的氣撞到尖板，令空氣震盪。直笛音色優美圓潤，是巴洛克時代的標準獨奏樂器。標準直笛有8個音孔，透過按孔的不同組合可以得到2個半八度以內的所有半音。現在的直笛是十二平均律樂器，可以吹奏包括大調、小調的24個調。因為音孔較少，在吹奏遠關係調時，指法極為複雜。
