鈹

鈹（Beryllium）是一種化學元素，符號為Be，原子序數為4，屬於鹼土金屬。它通常在宇宙射線散裂過程中產生，是宇宙中較為稀有的元素之一。 鈹呈鋼灰色，輕、硬而易碎。它既能溶於酸也能溶於鹼液，是兩性金屬，主要用於製備合金。人體若吸入含鈹粉塵會導致慢性過敏性鈹中毒。

鈹 【pī】（指兵器時念pī，化學元素念pí），是將短劍裝在長柄之上，類似現代的刺刀，後世叫槍。鈹流行於戰國初期，南北方都有，尤以趙、秦發現最多。這些發現說明了當時戰爭時期鈹身為武器的殺傷力地位是不可忽視的。趙鈹無鐔，秦鈹有之，所有秦國的鈹，古人又稱之為“鎩”。
