北京人

北京人又稱北京猿人，科學命名為“北京直立人”（拉丁語：Homo erectus pekinensis），又稱“中國猿人北京種”（Sinanthropus pekinensis），是生活在更新世的直立人。其化石遺存於1927年在中國北京市西南的周口店龍骨山發現。關於其年代的爭議較大，而2009年英國《自然》期刊發表的應用26Al/10Be測年法的結果則把這一年代推至68-78萬年前。北京猿人四肢骨的大小、形狀、比例和肌肉附著點（特別是上肢骨）基本上具有現代人的形式。
