　　New York Transit Museum: Ghost Station Tour

　　City Hall Station, an abandoned station of the New York Rapid Transit 運輸 subway, was originally the last stop at the southern end of the subway line. Opened in 1904, the station was designed to be the most impressive station of the city’s new subway system.

AlphaGo, a program developed by Google’s London-based artificial intelligence AI team Deep-Mind, has just beaten a human at a really complicated game. The field of honor is a Go圍棋 board in Seoul 首爾, South Korea. Lee Sedol 李世石, a South Korean, is a world Go champion and is considered the game’s most outstanding player. But he was defeated by AlphaGo.

　　The contest has drawn tens of thousands of online spectators who have followed the matches live on the Internet. Videos of the competition have received more than four million views since the contest began on March 9. The five-game contest took a week in all. While at a pre-match press conference, Lee said he was confident he would win five to nil 零分 or, at least, four to one, he defeated AlphaGo only once in the fourth game.

　　This is the first animated movie I’ve seen for 2016. And I must say that Zootopia has really set the bar high in terms of overall quality. As of this writing it still has a 99% score on Rotten Tomatoes.

　　There is a lot of animated movies this year that circles around animals like Kung Fu Panda, Finding Dory, ICE AGE 5, Norm of the North and Angry Birds but I think no animated film is grabbing adult themes, like racism and cultural prejudice, by the horns like Zootopia.

　　Zootopia sets up a world where animals evolved進化to a civilization where predators捕食者 and prey have learned to co-exist and create a thriving society.

　　The movie is a buddy cop film where the two main characters, Officer Judy Hopps the first rabbit to become a cop and Nick Wilde a sly street hustler have to solve the mystery of 14 missing animals. Through their mystery adventure they meet a lot of different characters and learn things about each other and about themselves.

　　Just some interesting points of observation:

These are often colour-coded, and one health centre in Canada has published its list online. “Code red” announces a fire, “code white” indicates a violent person while “code black” means a bomb threat is active.
