　　作者及作品簡介：《愛》– 羅伊·克里夫特

　　Roy Croft是個很有爭議的“人物”，任何文獻裡面沒有關於他的生平的任何介紹，甚至是生卒年代，也沒有照片。至於說他是愛爾蘭人，也只是一個傳說，也有人認為他是美國人。代表作品是《Love》。而其生活年代被估計為1905年1980年間。 Roy在1979年自費出版了一本28頁的詩集，其中最有名的詩就是《愛》。

　　這首詩經常在婚禮上出現，也總有人引用。對於他成謎的身世，有一種說法是Roy本人根本不存在，而是有人用來發表翻譯的詩作的一個途徑。而《愛》這首詩本身翻譯自奧地利詩人Erich Fried的德語詩《我愛你》Ich Liebe Dich。 他的詩集現在已找不到了，甚至連名字都沒有留下。早在上世紀九十年代的時候有人試圖去找這本詩集，但由於年代久遠，公司已經找不到任何一本藏書和記錄了。

　　一、要深入瞭解詩人和詩詞的撰寫背景
