英語發音不好怎麼辦
提高英語發音的方法
1.學習弱讀
為什麼母語者講話會那麼快?因為他們經常會將句子中一些不重要的單詞輕輕帶過,也就是我們所說的“弱讀”。
比如,for,正常讀音為/fɔːɾ/,弱讀形式為/fəɾ/.
Eg1. This is for the meeting on Monday.
Eg2. I am going to be late for class.
如果你預期聽到的讀音是/fɔːɾ/,而實際上你聽到的卻是/fəɾ/.那麼你很可能就不會意識到它就是for.
2 學習連讀
英語是一種十分連貫的語言,不像漢語發音講究每個字每個詞發音獨立和清晰。英語母語者說起英語來像唱歌一樣,前一個單詞的結尾和後一個單詞的開頭經常會連起來發音,並且有自己的節奏在裡面。很普遍的一箇中式發音問題就是,許多人說英語跟說漢語一樣,每個單詞都被獨立地說出來,聽起來讓人感覺很生硬。
我們總是覺得英語聽力音訊里語速太快,一個原因是他們會經常使用單詞的弱讀形式,另外一個原因就是連讀了。舉個簡單的例子:Can I help you? 這裡can 和I就可以練起來讀。an apple, an 和apple的a也是可以連讀。連讀的形式多種多樣,如果想練好英語口音的話還需要系統的學習。
3 學習語調intonation
另一個經常被英語學習者忽視的地方就是語調intonation了。Intonation describes how the voice rises and falls in speech. 語調就是指聲音的升降了。你會不會覺得英語母語者說話自帶一種節奏,就跟漢語中的抑揚頓挫一樣。語調這種東西必須要多聽多體會。比如當你問一個問題時,尤其是答案為yes或no的問題時,例如:Are you going to school today? 語調應該是上升的。
除此之外,還要注意每個單詞的重音,比如economy, 重音在第二個音節;adjective,重音在第一個音節。而在每個句子中,不同單詞的音調也有所不同,一般來說句子中單詞重音在名詞,動詞,形容詞等實詞上,而非介詞,連詞等虛詞。
4 聽寫練習
找一段30秒到1分鐘的段音訊,一句一句聽寫,第一遍沒有聽到的單詞第二遍第三遍再去補齊,有時候你只聽到了一個單詞發音,但並不知道是哪個單詞,也不知道如何拼寫,你可以根據自己聽到的聲音大概地拼寫一下。如此反覆,直到你聽出了所有的單詞,或者你實在聽不出某些單詞了。
接下來對照文字,標出哪些你沒有聽出來的地方,然後,找出你為什麼沒有聽出來的原因。是因為單詞不認識?自己對這個單詞的讀音有錯誤?語速太快?沒有意識到這個單詞被弱讀了或者跟前後的單詞連讀了?
找出原因之後在對症下藥。繼續聽原音訊,體會哪些你沒有聽出來的地方,一遍一遍,直到你熟悉那種發音模式。
網路上帶文字的音訊資源有很多,比如我們公眾號每天推送的Diary of a wimpy kid就可以做為聽寫的入門材料。其他資源有TED talks,VOA, BBC, 並且這些資源都是分難度等級的,大家選擇適合自己水平的材料就好。但是提醒大家:千萬不要只囤資源,而不去學習!
5 使用youglish
這個網站超級強大,你可以輸入任意一個單詞或者一句話進行檢索,然後你就會看到很多包含這個單詞或者句子的視訊,也就是說,你可以聽到不同的人說同樣的一句話,體會他們在說這句話的語音語調,以及以上提到的需要注意的發音現象。
聽不同的人來說某個單詞或某句話,訓練你的耳朵,直到你的耳朵非常熟悉這句話,不管從任何人的嘴裡說出這句話,你都能聽出來。
