　　大學英語四級作文應試技巧

　　在較高層次的英語考試中，寫作是必不可少的題目，因為應考者的真正英語水平會在此題中體現得最明顯。現在四級考試中的寫作已採用新的計分原則，作文的好壞直接影響考生的總成績。我們知道，寫作的功夫不是一朝一夕就能練就的，寫作技巧需要時間和心血來提高。然而，大部分非英語專業的學生都缺乏足夠的時間和精力去練習寫作，因此，對於這部分為應戰大英四級而疲於奔命的學生來說，如何能簡捷有效地提高寫作水平確是一件迫在眉睫的事情。以下筆者準備通過回答幾個大家共同關心的問題來助大家一臂之力。 1. 什麼是高分作文?

　　高分作文的要素是體現在閱卷人員所依據的評分原則和評分標準——總體評分Global Scoring之中的。閱卷人員就是憑著對文章總的印象、總體表達效果給分的，而不是按語法、詞彙、拼寫等錯誤的累計數目多少來扣分。也就是說，作文是就內容和語言兩方面給分的。語言和內容是一個統一體，高分作文要求內容切題、表達清楚、意義連貫、句法多變、語言正確。

　　1 內容切題：不能走題、偏題。

　　2 表達清楚：要讓別人知道你想說什麼，不要用你認為能看懂的漢語式英文句子中國學生寫英語作文的最大缺點，比如：He would help you in no word.他幫你簡直沒話說。It would not say he was not hard.這並不是說他不刻苦。這樣的英語句子只能讓閱卷人員捧腹大笑，然後給你“溫柔一刀”。

　　3 意義連貫：中英文化差異造成思維方式和文字表述方式不同，英文表達更注重事實，所以寫英語作文不要過多地進行心理、環境描寫，120個詞的作文結構要縝密，理由和例子要簡潔有力、說明問題，不要東拉西扯。

　　4 句法多變：為避免文章平淡、呆板，可使用不同的句式如強調句、倒裝句、否定句等，比如：Not until yesterday did I realized...

　　5 語言正確：不要犯低階的語法錯誤，比如：I is...

　　2. 作文考試會出什麼題目?

　　1 主要是議論文結構的作文，題型主要分為五大類：

　　My view on...，Advantages and Disadvantages of...，How to...，A or B，Why...等。 2 考生熟悉的，有話可說的內容，比如：社會熱點My View on Job Hopping, Foreign Films and Domestic Films.

　　3 還要和考生的文化背景有關，比如：The Teacher I Like Best, Why I Take the College English Test Band-4?

　　4 考題還要考慮到考生的語言水平。總之，校園生活、社會熱點、環境保護、科學技術、業餘生活等都會是出題的範圍。

　　3. 如何做考前準備?

　　1 多看報刊雜誌，注意收集材料，增加自己的資訊量，寫作文時才會有材料進行加工。博覽群書是最好的辦法。

　　2 多看經典範文，其中好的用詞、句型結構一定要記下，並在平時的作文練習中模仿使用。比如It is known that...也可有更精彩的表述：As is widely recognized that….再比如：“舉例”除了可以表達為For example, For instance之外，還可以有這些精彩表述：Cite…as proof, Take...for example, Another illustration is that…, A case in point is that...

　　3 使用言簡意賅、寓意深刻的言語會讓文章增色不少。但注意，言語的使用要配合具

　　體的場合和上下文，因此，記下來的言語一定要在平時多想想可以在哪些文章裡使用，否則張冠李戴，反而會弄巧成拙。

　　4 應熟記一些常用的議論文句型，比如：...is certainly correct when he says/ writes that…, It is generally/ widely accepted/ argued/ held/ believed that...等。

　　上述五大類議論文常用到的表達方式也應在平時多加留意，比如在Aor B題型的寫作中，我們便常會用到以下句型和論述步驟：When we…, it is inevitable to meet the choice between A and B. We would be regarded as inconsiderate if we rushed our decision without comparing or contrasting them. First/ First of all / To begin with, both A and B…A....However, B… besides/ Moreover / In addition / What’s more, A…. However/ In contrast / On the contrary/ On the other hand…. Finally, the most striking difference is that A….while B…Therefore, it is not difficult to make a right choice now. If we…we will choose A; but if we…we will turn to B. In a word, the key lies in….

　　5 平時看到一個作文題目時，練習用五分鐘打草稿列提綱，也可和朋友切磋，擴大視野，正所謂“三個臭皮匠，頂個諸葛亮”。

　　6 注意具有中國特色片語的翻譯。如：下海risk one’s fortune in business;德智體全面發展develop morally, intellectually and physically等。

　　1 改變時態

　　2 改變語態
