　　Where do you go for a good time? Most of the people I know go to a pub, club or bar. Sometimes all three in one night. When I was younger I used to go pubbing and clubbing. We would all meet in a pub and have a few drinks and then go off to a club to dance. When the club shut, we’d head off to a late-night bar. I love going to pubs. They are full of atmosphere. Lots of people chatting, laughing and having a good time. Thankfully, pubs are no-smoking places now, so you can come home without smelling like a cigarette. I also still like clubs, although I’m a bit old now. I love the loud music. It always makes me want to dance. I loved going clubbing in different countries. Different music and atmosphere.

　　The Pyramids in Cairo are my favourite buildings in the whole world. I knew all about them when I was very young. They have always fascinated me. They really are one of the world’s wonders. People still don’t know how they were built. I think they are probably the greatest architectural achievement ever. Even the tallest buildings today are easy to build. The Pyramids were almost impossible to build, but they did it. Two things fascinate me about The Pyramids – their beautiful shape and their mystery. I love looking at photos of The Pyramids. When I visited Egypt, their beauty blew me away. And the great thing was I also felt their mystery. The Pyramids are full of hidden secrets, history and mysteries.

　　I so can’t wait for the Super Bowl. It’s gonna be the best ever. Every year I always look forward to it. It’s quite simply the greatest show on Earth. You can’t compare the Super Bowl to any other sporting event. It’s even better than the Olympics. It’s one hundred times more exciting than the soccer World Cup. This year is extra special. My favorite team’s playing – the New Orleans Saints. The Indianapolis Colts are the favorites. We’re the underdogs, but I don’t care. I have this feeling we’re gonna win big. I also just found out the British rock group The Who are performing during the halftime show. I love those guys – they really rock. All in all I think Super Bowl 44 will be totally awesome.

　　Public relations is becoming a more and more important part of every company. The PR department in some companies is huge. People in PR have to work hard in getting the company’s name out there. I guess sometimes they have to lie. I’m not sure if a lot of PR staff actually believe the advertising of their company. Public relations is also now a huge part of government. The PR of presidents and prime ministers is carefully managed. A lot of taxpayers money is spent on making sure the leader always looks and sounds good. They must always say the right thing and have the perfect image. What a waste of money. When something goes wrong, it’s called a public relations disaster. That means most governments are public relations disasters.

　　I’d like to know more about psychology. I think it’s a very interesting subject to study. I’d like to know why I do the things I do. Looking at how the brain works and how we behave might make me understand people more. I’d particularly like to study child psychology. I love looking at children playing, thinking, drawing… doing anything really. But what makes them tick? What goes on in their little minds? Or perhaps I should say their big minds. If we all knew more about child psychology, perhaps we could do more to be a positive influence on children. Being a psychologist must be a very interesting job. Listening to people talk all day and then analyzing their behaviour. I wonder if they ever get bored.

　　Property is one of the best investments you can make. Of course it depends on which country you live in. Buying property usually guarantees your investment will rise in value. If you have a lot of extra cash, you can play the world property market. Places like Dubai and other areas of the Gulf are good places to buy at the moment. I know lots of people who have made a lot of money from property. They have several houses and rent them out. The rent pays the mortgage and after twenty years the house is theirs. I’ve never had any property. I’m still saving up for the deposit to buy a house. I find the property market to be very confusing. I don’t like all the hidden costs involved in buying a property.

　　They call prostitution the world’s oldest profession. That’s interesting because in most countries around the world it is illegal. How can you call something illegal a profession? Should prostitution be illegal? If a man or woman wants to sell his or her body, why not? Every government knows it happens in their country. Even countries with the strictest rules have prostitution. Many governments just turn a blind eye to it. The problem with making it illegal is that female prostitutes suffer. They have no legal protection and so their job becomes very dangerous. In Holland, prostitution is legal. Prostitutes must have regular health checks and they can call the police if they get into trouble. This seems more sensible.
