　　愛和時間Love and Time

　　只有時間瞭解愛的價值.Only Time is capable of understanding how valuable Love is.

　　Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings lived: Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge, and all of the others, including Love.

　　從前有一個島，所有的情感都住在那裡：幸福、悲傷、知識和所有其它的，愛也不例外。

　　One day it was announced to the feelings that the island would sink, so all constructed boats and left. Except for Love.

　　一天，所有的情感聽說小島即將沉沒，因此建造小船，紛紛離開，除了愛。

　　Love was the only one who stayed. Love wanted to hold out until the last possible moment.

　　愛是唯一留下來的，因為它希望能堅持到最後一刻。

　　When the island had almost sunk, Love decided to ask for help.

　　Richness was passing by Love in a grand boat. Love said,

　　Richness answered, "No, I can't. There is a lot of gold and silver in my boat. There is no place here for you."

　　Love decided to ask Vanity who was also passing by in a beautiful vessel. "Vanity, please help me!"

　　"I can't help you, Love. You are all wet and might damage my boat," Vanity answered.

　　Sadness was close by so Love asked, "Sadness, let me go with you."

　　"Oh . . . Love, I am so sad that I need to be by myself!"

　　Happiness passed by Love, too, but she was so happy that she did not even hear when Love called her.

　　Suddenly, there was a voice, "Come, Love, I will take you." It was an elder. So blessed and overjoyed, Love even forgot to ask the elder where they were going. When they arrived at dry land, the elder went her own way. Realizing how much was owed the elder,

　　Love asked Knowledge, another elder, "Who Helped me?"

　　They shuddered with cold, and ran down the road to the bridge. There, warm, they started walking hand in hand.

　　天空中出現了一縷紅光。掛在西邊天空的一輪彎月慢慢西沉。朦朧的大地上，萬物開始甦醒，長滿大葉子的植物也清晰可見。他們來到了海灘。漫長的，空無一人的海灘在黎明時分的海邊呻吟著;大海就像一條帶著白邊的扁平的黑帶。蒼茫大海上的天空泛著紅光。不一會兒火紅的光芒映紅了雲彩，將它們一片片散開。顏色漸漸地從深紅色變成桔紅色，從桔紅色變成暗淡的金黃色，於是太陽就在一片金光中升起。海面上頓時波光粼粼，閃耀著金光，好像有人路過，一邊走，一邊從桶裡灑下金光。

　　The breakers4 ran down the shore in long, hoarse strokes. Tiny seagulls, like little spray, wheeled above the line of surf. Their crying seemed larger than their bodies. Far away the coast reached, melt into the morning. The tussocky sand hills seemed to sink to a level with the beach. duanwenw On this shore only they watched the sea and the rising sun, and heard the faint water and the sharp crying of the gulls.
