掩耳盜鈴的歷史故事

　　這個詞諷刺了那種自欺欺人的人的做法。掩耳盜鈴的意思就是捂著耳朵去偷一碰就會響的鈴鐺，在此成語故事中，這個人以為把自己的耳朵捂住別人也就聽不見了。著實很可笑很諷刺。一般我們講這個故事就是說有一個人去偷鈴鐺，泛泛而談。其實不然，這個故事是有真名實姓的，偷的也不是鈴鐺，而是銅鐘。

　　春秋末年，大將範吉射一家因被追殺，只好逃離晉國。一天，有個人在範家的門口發現了一口鐘，很漂亮，於是便想要把它偷走。可是鐘太重了，他根本不能揹走它。過了一會兒，他想出了一個主意：鐘不是太重嗎?那就把它敲碎，一塊一塊地搬走不就行了嗎?於是，他很得意地找來一個鐵錘，用盡全身力氣砸向大鐘。“當——”，鍾發出了震耳欲聾的響聲。因為這鐘是銅澆鑄而成的，自然是一點也沒破損。他又猛力砸了一下，鍾仍然發出很大響聲，只稍微晃了幾下，完好無損。這時他突然意識到，如果再繼續砸下去，這“噹噹”的聲響被人聽到，就偷不了鍾了。他自以為聰明，又想出了個辦法：捂住自己的耳朵再砸。這就是成語掩耳盜鈴的意思，這則成語諷刺了這種自欺欺人的愚蠢行為。那麼為什麼後來鍾變成了鈴呢?這是由於在古時，鍾和鈴都是樂器，所以後人將“掩耳盜鐘”演變為“ 掩耳盜鈴”。
