His favorite color is red, because he thinks red stands for joyousness. I love my grandfather forever.

　　I’m a primary school student. I go to school every day from Monday to Friday. Every morning I have some milk and toast for a quick breakfast. I like toast with strawberry jam.

　　我是一名小學生。我每天星期一到星期五都要去學校。每天早晨我都是快速地喝牛奶、吃麵包來作為早餐。我喜歡在麵包上蘸草莓醬。

　　I don’t have lunch at the school canteen. I like to have a sandwich, an apple or a bar of chocolate for lunch.

　　Dinner is usually nice with my family together. My mother likes to cook some beef or chicken, vegetables, and some fruit salad. After dinner, I have some ice cream. It’s delicious.

　　When we talk about being independent, we often think about leaving our parents and living alone. The mental independence is always ignored by people, mental independence means the person can measure the things and make the right decision. As for the children, even they move out and stay far away from their parents, but sometimes they just can’t control themselves, they will get the bad behavior, like smoking and drinking, their life is losing control. The young people need to cultivate their independent spirit, they should think by themselves, learn to take care of the other people, thus they can be the real independent. When a person grows up, they can be strong enough to support their lives and at the same time, they can be mature enough to make their own decision. They can tell what is wrong and what is right.

　　當我們談到成為獨立，總是想要離開父母，獨自居住。精神上的獨立總是被人們忽略，精神上的獨立意味著一個人能衡量事情，做出正確的決定。對於孩子來說，雖然他們搬出去，遠離父母，但是有時候他們無法自控，養成不好的習慣。比如抽菸和喝酒，他們的生活會失控。年輕人需要養成獨立精神，他們應該自己思考，學著去照顧別人，這樣才能真正的獨立。當一個人成長了，他們才能夠足夠的強大去養活自己，同時，也能夠足夠成熟去做決定。他們能區分什麼是好，什麼是壞。

　　I’d like to go to a beautiful place. I think it would be Beijing. Beijing is not only our capital city, but also a famous city with long history and wonderful culture. Beijing is also China’s political and cultural center. There’re many old places of great interest, such as the Great Wall, the Summer Palace, the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven, and Tiananmen Square. Once you see Tiananmen Square, you will think of Beijing. It has been the symbol of Beijing since 1949.

　　我想去一個美麗的地方。我覺得那應該是北京。北京不僅僅是我們的首都，也是有著悠久的歷史和精彩地文化的著名城市。北京也是中國的政治和文化中心。有很多古蹟，比如，長城，頤和園，紫禁城，天壇，天安門廣場。只要你看到天安門廣場，你就會想起北京。自從1949年起它就是北京的象徵了。
