　　Miss Li is our English teacher. She always impresses us deeply with her lively English class.

　　One day when the first bell rang， the monitor stood up and said， “Our English teacher is going to have an operation today. It has not been decided yet who will give us the lesson. ”The class turned silent at his words. It seemed that no one would believe him. In fact， all of us were afraid that Miss Li would no longer be with us. At this moment， Miss Li appeared at the door. She looked tired and pale.

　　“I’ll be missing you badly， ”she said in a low voice， “I have asked the doctor to put off the operation till tomorrow because I don’t want you to miss a single class. ”She went on， “A new teacher will take my place and I hope you’ll get on well with him. I’ll come back as soon as I’m better. ”

　　Hearing this， all of us were moved to tears. What a good teacher we have.

　　My mother is a village woman， who is already in her fifties. She had very little school education， but she knows that knowledge is of great importance to young people. She often asks me how I get along with my studies and encourages me to study hard.

　　My mother takes good care of me and does everything she can for me， so that I can spend more time on my study.

　　Once she was badly ill and had stayed in bed for several days. When I got home to see her at night， I found the light was still on and mother was sitting in bed， making new clothes for me ! I was so deeply moved that tears came to my eyes.

　　The happiest thing that I could think of is preparing gifts for my mother.As is known to all,the second Sunday of May is the mother's day.This year,I decided to prepare a surprise for her.I went to the market in the afternoon.And I chose some of my mother's favorite food.Then I returned home and cooked two dishes for her under the help of my fathe.When my mom returned home in the evening,she saw the candles on the table and the card i wrote for her.She was so moved and burst into tears,I never expected her reactions could be like that.My mom have devoted so much for me.But I never expected that such little efforts can make her so happy.My heart is full of sense of achievement and I knew I was the happiest person in the world.
