春節（別稱：新春、年節、天臘、歲首、新年、大年，英文名：Spring Festival）是中國四大傳統節日之一，農曆新年，傳統上的“年節”，日期定在每年農曆的正月初一。 春節歷史悠久，由上古時代歲首祈歲祭祀演變而來。萬物本乎天、人本乎祖，祈歲祭祀、敬天法祖，報本反始也。春節的起源蘊含著深邃的文化內涵，在傳承發展中承載了豐厚的歷史文化底蘊。春節期間，各家都要舉行各種慶祝活動，這些活動大多以祭祀神佛、祭奠祖先、除舊佈新、迎禧接福、祈求豐年為主要內容。活動形式豐富多彩，多帶有濃郁的民族特色，凝聚著中華傳統文化精華。據不完全統計，已有近20個國家和地區把中國春節定為整體或者所轄部分城市的法定節假日。春節民俗經國務院批准列入第一批國家級非物質文化遺產名錄。 2023年春節的放假調休日期的具體安排為：2023年1月21日至27日放假調休，共7天。1月28日（星期六）、1月29日（星期日）上班。
