米（法語：mètre → 英式英文：metre，美式英文：meter），中國大陸和香港音譯為“米”（亦稱“公尺”），臺灣作“公尺”（口語偶稱“米”），舊譯“邁當”、“米達”。它是國際單位制基本長度單位，符號為m。1米的長度最初定義為透過巴黎的經線上從地球赤道到北極點的距離的千萬分之一。其後隨著人們對度量衡學的認識加深，米的長度的定義幾經修改。從1983年至今，米的長度已經被定義為“光在真空中於1/299792458秒內行進的距離”。
