鼓掌

“鼓掌”古稱“拊掌”，今謂之“拍手”，是表示高興的肌體語言，是內心激動、興奮情緒的外部表現，所謂“情動於中，而形於言；言之不足，故詠歌之；詠歌之不足，故嗟嘆之；嗟嘆之不足，不知手之舞之足之蹈之也”。鼓掌起源於何時何地，今已無從考證。在我國，對鼓掌最早的文字記載見於先秦法家代表人物韓非的《韓非子·功名》一文，文曰：“人主之患在莫之應，故曰：一手獨拍，雖疾無聲。”言下之意，兩手相拍，才會有聲音。當然它的本意與後來人們常說的“一個巴掌拍不響”的意思已相去甚遠。這說明公元前230年左右已經有了鼓掌之說。鼓掌是指兩隻手互拍，表示認可和贊同的一種肢體反應。
