蓮藕

蓮藕（拉丁學名：Nelumbo nucifera Gaertn，玉玲瓏），山龍眼目睡蓮科植物。它原產於印度，後來引入中國，在中國山東、河南、河北等地均有種植。 蓮的地下莖叫藕，水生類蔬菜，形狀肥大有節，內有管狀小孔；分為紅花藕、白花藕、麻花藕；紅花藕瘦長，外皮褐黃色、粗糙，水分少，不脆嫩；白花藕肥大，外表細嫩光滑，呈銀白色，肉質脆嫩多汁，甜味濃郁；麻花藕粉紅色，外表粗糙，含澱粉多。
