首爾（諺文：서울；英文：Seoul），全稱首爾特別市，舊稱漢城。大韓民國首都，是世界第十大城市、朝鮮半島最大的城市，亞洲主要金融城市之一；也是韓國的政治、經濟、科技、教育、文化中心。 首爾位於韓國西北部的漢江流域，朝鮮半島的中部；屬溫帶季風氣候，著名景點有景福宮、昌德宮等。1394年朝鮮國王李成桂遷都漢陽並改為漢城；2005年1月，韓國政府宣佈“서울”的中文翻譯名稱更改為“首爾”。
