氣溫是一氣象術語，一般指大氣的溫度。天氣預報中的氣溫，指在野外空氣流通、不受太陽直射下測得的空氣溫度。國際上標準氣溫度量單位是攝氏度（℃）。最高氣溫是一日內氣溫的最高值，一般出現在14-15時，最低氣溫一般出現在早晨5-6時。中國用攝氏溫標，以℃表示攝氏度。一般一天觀測4次（02、08、14、20四個時次），部分測站根據實際情況，一天觀測3次（08、14、20三個時次）。氣溫是用來衡量地球表面大氣溫度分佈狀況和變化態勢的重要指標。它可根據需要分為日均溫，月均溫和年均溫。它還是指導人們正常生活和生產活動的重要參考依據。
