寮國

寮國人民民主共和國（寮國文：ສາທາລະນະລັດ ປະຊາທິປະໄຕ ປະຊາຊົນລາວ，英文：The Lao People’s Democratic Republic，簡稱寮國），位於中南半島北部的內陸國家，北鄰中國，南接柬埔寨，東臨越南，西北達緬甸，西南毗連泰國，首都永珍。 1353年建立瀾滄王國。1707年，瀾滄王國陷入分裂，又不斷遭到鄰國暹羅和越南的入侵，淪為兩國的屬國。1893年淪為法國殖民地。 1945年獨立，建立寮國王國，但很快陷入長期內戰。1975年，共產主義組織“巴特寮”推翻君主制政權，寮國人民民主共和國建立並存續至今。寮國人民革命黨是寮國唯一的執政黨。 寮國是東南亞國家聯盟成員國，寮國實行社會主義制度，寮國是世界最不發達國家之一，以農業為主，工業、服務業基礎薄弱，水利資源豐富，產柚木、花梨等名貴木材。
