總裁

總裁（president）原是職官名，始見於《宋史·呂蒙正傳》，意思是“彙總裁決其事”，後逐步演變為政府、商業組織機構中的一種職位。其一般是指組織中某一事務的主要負責人或行政領導人，亦可以理解為：總的全權裁決組織內事務的人。

“總裁”常作為組織主要負責人的職務稱謂。如中國國民黨黨首在歷史上曾稱“總裁”。國民黨為達一黨專政之目的，極力擴大和加強其所控制的軍事力量，並將國民黨組織制度改為總裁制，推行“一個黨，一個主義，一個領袖” 。蔣介石有好多頭銜 。頭銜之一叫蔣總裁，總裁相當於總書記，就是說蔣介石曾經是國民黨的領袖 。蔣介石到臺灣後，一直連任“總裁”至1975年4月5日去世 。蔣介石去世後，廢除“總裁”制，黨的首腦改稱中央委員會主席 。各種組織中除了黨派，企業的高層也常採用“總裁”一職務。
