去皮是製漿造紙的術語，由於樹皮（外皮）的纖維素含量很低，雜質很高，會降低蒸煮的效率，增加蒸煮藥品的消耗。紙漿中塵埃會增加，強度會降低。因此在生產質量要求較高的紙漿時，一般要求去掉外皮，即去皮！ 在某些情況下也有突出本質的意思。 或指稱量時去除外包裝，稱取淨重。
