盾

盾，古人稱“幹”，與戈同為古代戰爭用具，故有“干戈相見”等詞。後後來還稱作“牌”、“彭排”等。傳說我國最早的盾，遠在黃帝時代就有了。《山海經》中有關於“刑天”這位英雄人物的神話，描寫他一手操幹，一手持斧，揮舞不停的雄姿。陶淵明為此寫詩讚道：“刑天舞干鏚，猛志固常在。”盾作為一種“主衛而不主刺”的衛體武器，早在商代就已經存在。到唐代時，盾改稱“彭排”。宋代時正式稱“牌”。明清兩代沿襲宋習，稱牌而不再稱盾。
