鏡頭在影視中有兩指，一指電影攝影機、放映機用以生成影像的光學部件，二指從開機到關機所拍攝下來的一段連續的畫面，或兩個剪接點之間的片段，也叫一個鏡頭。 一指和二指，是兩個完全不同的概念，為了區別兩者的不同，常把一指稱光學鏡頭，把二指稱鏡頭畫面。根據鏡頭的產地分類主要是日系鏡頭和德系鏡頭。日系鏡頭主要是色彩的還原性比較好，德系鏡頭的層次感比較強。市場上中國的鏡頭也逐漸佔領一定的市場，主要是價格比較低廉。
